On Saturday 22nd May – MBS and friends took part in The Children’s Centre – (Raad ny Foillan) Race The Sun challenge, followed by the Annual Rounders Tournament.
The task itself sounds simple – starting in Peel, at sunrise (05:01), the teams must complete a lap of the dramatic 100 mile island coastal footpath before the sun sets (21:17). The course follows the ‘Raad ny Foillan’ the stunning coastal footpath circumventing The Isle of Man with beautiful scenery, a range of terrains and some significant height gain.
The event for MBS, marks the dedication to taking on and tackling on challenges outside of their comfort zone, following a year of being in and out of lockdown.
All money raised goes directly to supporting vulnerable children and young people in the Isle of Man through a variety of practical and engaging projects.
