Age Concern aim for Landmark with Canon Colour.

2008 is a big year for Age Concern Isle of Man, it is their 15th Anniversary and to mark the occasion they are focusing their fundraising activities on raising £1.5 million to build a healthy living centre that will incorporate a variety of facilities ranging from a sports hall to a hairdressing suite.

To help raise the required funds Age Concern has many fundraising events scheduled throughout the year, and to help advertise these events they have invested in the Canon iRC2880i full colour multifunction device. Previously print jobs such as event invitations, posters, business cards and information booklets were outsourced at great expense, and as is often the case there wasalways left over waste, however, Age Concern now has the flexibility to print on demand.

The charity’s business development manager Jennie Rowlinson explained further: ‘both our new printer and Manx Business Solutions have exceeded our expectations.  The printer produces such high quality documents that not only is Age Concern able to project a very professional image in all its printed communications, but also, with its multi-function full-colour facilities we’re able to bring previously outsourced colour printing jobs in-house and save money which, as a charity, is of paramount importance, especially at a time when we’re producing so many different types of promotional material for our Landmark Appeal.
